Polly Chesnokova | Co-founder
Polly Chesnokova is a prospective graduate of Kyiv International School, a Ukraine Global Scholar, and a FLEX Alumna. An aspiring filmmaker, Polly hopes to tell the story of young environmental activists with the documentary lens. Because of ESMU, in 2020, she was chosen as a Global Teen Leader at We Are Family Foundation.

Nathan Syvash | Co-founder
Oleh Syvash is an alumnus ‘19 of the FLEX program sponsored by the US Department of State and also its Representative in Kyiv Region. Oleh focuses his work on environmental sustainability that led him to become a National Winner of the international business competition, Diamond Challenge for High School Entrepreneurs, and receive funding from UNICEF within the UPSHIFT Ukraine program.

Rita Bilyk is a high school graduate who is passionate about arts and film, especially animation. She is an amateur digital artist, illustrator, and character designer. Rita took part in several creative projects in her hometown, including writing a script for a short film sponsored by the town officials and participating in the filming of a video about ecological problems.

Zuzanna Wnuk | Communications
Zuzanna Wnuk is a junior at Kyiv International School. Member of: National Art honors Society, Environmental Service & Initiative, Sports Council. She has recently moved to Kyiv and the opportunity to make a change in her community through ESMU.

Andrii Korotun | Communications
Andrii Korotun is an enrolled student at Minerva Schools at KGI, a Ukraine Global Scholar, and a Department Sponsored Future Leaders Exchange Alumnus. Andrii's mastery lies within fields or project management and scalable growth. He has co-founded Eco-FIRST project, with a total of 4000+ participants in 20 countries. Andrii took part in ESMU, organizing 2 educational events with a reach of 30 students in total.

Yulia Antonik | ESMU Poltava
Yulia Antonik is a born artist: her room walls are covered in pictures, doors – decorated with hand-drawn butterflies. She is a frequent participant of projects sponsored by Peace Corps, Ukraine Junior Academy of Sciences, and embassy of the USA in Ukraine. Yulia was a coordinator of “Wals Don’t Cry” and organizer of “Nu sho pAgAvarim” project series.
Tanya Tkachenko | ESMU Ambassador in Lozova
Olya Kasko | ESMU Volyn
Olya Kasko is a “Volunteer School” participant and an active current volunteer at animal shelters. She likes art in all its forms and can be easily found at literary, film, and music-related events. Olya is an ambassador of “the World Largest Lesson”, St. Valentine's assistant 2019, and an organizer of “MotivatiON” in two Ukrainian cities.


Viktoriia Zakharova | Eco-activist in collaboration
Viktoriia Zakharova is an enrolled student at Swarthmore College, a Ukraine Global Scholar, and a Department Sponsored Future Leaders Exchange Alumna. Viktoriia has taken an interest in social activism and project management. She has co-organized a climate change rally as a part of Friday's For Future movement, with a total attendance of 50 participants and involvement of 12 non-governmental organizations.
